Seahawk Meet 2010 – Dare To Care

Seahawk meet in Louisville, Friday February 18-Sunday February 21

This meet is called the Dare to Care meet. At each session if you bring a canned good you will be entered in a raffle to win a Speedo prize package.

Warm-up times and start times (end times are approximate):
Friday pm: warm-up 4:30, meet 5:30, end 9pm.
Sat. am: warm-up 7am, meet 8am, end 11:30.
Sat. mid-day: warm-up 11:30am, meet 12:30, end 1:50.
Sat. pm: warm-up 2, meet 3, end at 8.
Sun. am: warm-up 7, meet 8, end 10:30
Sun. pm: warm-up 10:30, meet 11:30, end 4:30.

General Info
This meet will be much like the Jack Thompson meet in the fall.  The pool deck will be crowded.  There is some bleacher seating, but parents will probably want to bring chairs.  When you arrive, please find the team area.  We traditionally sit on the right side of the pool as you enter the building.  There is a parking lot and street parking, but it might take a little while to find a spot.  Please allow plenty of time to be on the pool deck ready to swim before your designated warm-up time.  There are concessions, but they are expensive and not very healthy.  It’s a good idea to pack a cooler.  The afternoon sessions are long– plan accordingly. 

 We have not been asked to provide timers for this meet.  If they call for volunteer timers and you choose to time, please let me know so I can avoid scheduling you to time at the championship meets. 

They will be charging admission at this meet as well as for heat sheets.
