What do the swimmers need for practice & meets?
They will need appropriate swim wear to practice in, goggles and equipment listed on the apparel & equipment page. Only Dolphin swim caps may be worn at meets. The Apparel is optional except for the team suit which is to be worn at meets.
The Meets page has a paragraph describing nutritional needs during a meet. It also lists the upcoming meets & time standards.
We have a Code of Conduct each swimmer must adhere to.
The swimmer will need to enter the meets through a web site called Direct Athletics. The link to Direct Athletics is located on the side of our web pages. You will need to set up an account prior to your first time of using this service.
Each swimmer is required to attend a minimum of three swim meets, one of which must be the Championships. Swimmers are encouraged to attend as many meets as possible.

How do I approach the Coaches?
The Dolphin coaches are very personable and eager to talk to parents. However, please refrain from discussions during practice periods and meets as we have a large team and the coaches need to devote themselves fully to instructing our swimmers. Coach Dave can be contacted via emailing dooswim@insightbb.com
